Karma Nirvana

What we do...

At Karma Nirvana, we primarily support victims via our Honour Network Helpline: 0800 5 999 247 Monday to Friday 9am-9pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm. We also have a voice message service that prompts callers to leave their name, number and safe time to call back. We provide practical and emotional support, a confidential service- information is kept confidential to our charity and we will always ask permission before sharing information with other agencies and never mediate with family members or anyone else, advocacy, signposting, training to professionals i.e. police, health professionals. We have a Young Persons Officer who goes into Schools and educational institutions to raise awareness amongst staff and students. We also host/attend events and roadshows across the UK as well as internationally to raise awareness of forced marriage and honour based abuse.

As a national charity, we support male and female victims of forced marriage and honour based abuse across the UK.

What we can help with...

We provide practical and emotional support, can advocate to other professionals/agencies on behalf of a victim, we provide guidance to professionals, can signpost to other relevant services and provide training to professionals across the UK.
