RASA Merseyside

RASA provides essential crisis and therapeutic support to individuals who have been affected by sexual violence at any time in their lives.

RASA offers specialised counselling, support and an Independent Sexual Violence Advocacy (ISVA) service related to sexual violence.

The ISVA Service specialises in providing support through the Criminal Justice process. This service is available for survivors of all ages who have experienced any form of sexual violence whether it is recent or in the past.

We also offer the opportunity to provide anonymous intelligence in relation to sexual violence cases for those individuals who do not want to make a formal complaint.

We offer telephone and e-mail support via our helpline which can be accessed on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6pm and 8pm, on Fridays between 12 and 2pm.

Who we support...

  • All victims of sexual violence.

What we can help with...

We will help you to understand why you are feeling and behaving the way you are doing. We will help you to unravel what has happened to you. We will help you see it was not your fault and we will work with you to reduce your dependence on any negative coping mechanisms you may have adopted.

We will help refer you into parallel services if so indicated by your need. We will create your own individual care pathway to recovery defined by initial needs and risk assessment and will help you start on the road to recovery.
